Launched on 7th February 2015 the Anti-Hate Crime Photographic Competition seeks to promote positive images of the people of Bolton working, living and playing together as a united community.
Hate crime blights the lives of many, whether it be racism, homophobia, bullying, sexist harrassment and regardless of whether its physical or verbal in nature. But beyond the ignorance and intolerance of a small minority, there is much to celebrate in the diversity of our community. The competition mainstreams tolerant, progressive attitudes in order to increasingly marginalise ignorance and intolerance.
