The Fabric of Protest is a textiles/sewing workshop held once a month at the People’s History Museum. Club members have produced pieces of work which will be on display during the exhibition later this summer.

The workshops offer a different means of political expression and the works cover broad range of very topical, hard hitting current issues including Trump's imminent visit, sexual harrassment, privatisation of the NHS. The exhibition fits with the People's History Museum's focus for the year "Represent", celebrating 100 year's since some women gained the vote. This talk is a preview of an exhibition opening at the People's History Museum on 7th July. Club members and other textile artists will be discussing their work and introducing you to the exhibition
