Fri 21 Jan: RED FRIDAY Fighting the cuts. A joint meeting with Bolton TUC. Speakers: Geoff Brown (Manchester Trades Union Council), Chris Chilton (Bolton against Racism) & a local student involved in the recent university occupations.
Fri 28 Jan: RED CINEMA. The Front (1976). Directed by Martin Ritt. Starring a young Woody Allen as an unlikely hero in opposing blacklisting in 50's America (Ritt himself was blacklisted for past Communist affiliation). Academy and Bafta nominations . 7.45pm
Fri 4 Feb: RED FRIDAY. Farida Yeasmin must stay! Farida is an asylum seeker living in Bolton. She had to flee Bangladesh due to religious persecution and harassment from her husband’s family. Speakers from the campaign.

Fri 18 Feb: RED CINEMA Inherit the Wind (1960 ) Director Stanley Kramer, with Spencer Tracey playing a teacher who is accused of the crime of teaching Evolution . Nominated for 4 Oscars. 7.45pm
Fri 25 Feb: RED FRIDAY The campaign for a living wage. Joint meeting with Bolton TUC. Speakers: David Crausby MP (Bolton North East), Bernadette Gallagher (UNISON National Executive) & a speaker from Church Action on Poverty.
Mon 28 Feb - CLUB AGM Currently paid up members only will be admitted. Club open for membership renewal on Friday nights and Saturday lunch. Subs can be paid up until 15 minutes before the meeting.
