Moira invites anyone interested in singing good socialist songs to come along and join in.
1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. 2-4pm.
You’ll hardly recognise the place!
Clean and brightly painted walls and ceiling, new carpet, new window blinds - a completely new look.
And not before time.
The old carpet has been down since 1969. And very few people can remember how the bar looked the bar before that.
We owe a big thank-you to the many members who came in over a period of several weeks
and helped with all the lifting and shifting needed. Also to those who helped contact and
liaise with decorators, carpet layers, blind fitters, etc.
And an especial thank-you to Graham Marsden for producing designs for the committee to vote on.
So come on in and enjoy. We have a club to be proud of!
